La Vie Boheme is a song taken from the musical Rent. The lyrics are a celebration of the ideas, trends, and symbols of bohemianism. This project involved taking these lyrics and creating a book with the use of existing images. I used the idea of NYC subway tiles to convey certain beliefs regarding Bohemianism.  The playful art stacks serve to contrast the conventional life, and help to symbolize an artist's Bohemian life style. I associated these lyrics with the passionate movement of "NYC subway typefaces" in Helvetica.
