Grid-Experimental Editorial Design

This was my first complete design of a book. The topic was Grid Book: Rhythmical Structure of Typography and Architecture. Inspired by Mexican architect Luis Barragán, I developed an idea to contrast Architecture and Typography. Architecture is normally 3D, while typography is usually 2D. Architecture is also more structured and stable, while typography could me more loose and dynamic.

This is also the first time I worked with so many mediums: calligraphy, text, geometric elements, photography and sculpture.
