Due to the rapid rate of current technological development, more and more digital entertainment devices have started to play important roles in our daily lives such as computers, smartphones, tablets and even VR/AR glasses. But I miss the times when my entire family would sit on the sofa and watch TV together. Although smartphones and tablets are more convenient and available when you are not home, TVs still have their own advantages that cannot be replaced when it comes to immersing oneself in a video experience.

Many researchers point out that the average time that we spend on TV watching is 3 hours per day, which is significantly higher than the amount of time we spend on the computer (20 mins) and on phones (35 mins). In addition, according to the Netflix Viewing Patterns Research, most of the users sign up to the platform using phones and laptops, but over time, viewing patterns change. Six months into a subscription, most viewers have moved from their smaller screens to the biggest one in their house.

So we still have a huge market related to TVs. So making the TV experience better should be a priority for us all.
